Christopher Carrillo
Founder, Pianist, Cellist
An internationally experienced and award-winning musician, Christopher is well-versed in both piano and cello. Playing the piano for more than 11 years and the cello for 6 years, Christopher continues his studies at the 12-time Grammy Award-winning Las Vegas Academy of the Performing Arts, majoring in piano while taking orchestral classes. Sharing his passion across the world, Christopher plays with the Young Artists Orchestra at the most advanced Symphony level, and has been fortunate enough to play at prestigious venues both locally and internationally. Notable venues in Las Vegas include the Smith Center. In China, Christopher has played at Shandong University's Concert Hall, at the Shandong Provincial Capital Grand Theatre, and at the Suzhou Bay Grand Theatre. Founding Presence through Sound Ensemble, Christopher aims to foster emotions of hope, joy, and a sense of community with his organization's performances across the Las Vegas valley. Alongside fulfilling his goal, Christopher enjoys spending time with his 2 dogs and taking on new hobbies such as photography.
Christian Carrillo
Pianist, Videographer, Photographer, Graphic Designer
An award-winning filmmaker and exceptional pianist, Christian is talented in all aspects of the arts. Admitted to Las Vegas Academy of the Performing Arts, where he studies video production at the advanced level, he was fortunate enough to win 7 first-place awards in numerous categories, as well as Best Picture award for short films out of all filmmakers at his high school. A gifted ragtime-loving pianist, Christian has experience playing at numerous piano recitals. With a strong background, he has earned the role as videographer for Presence through Sound Ensemble, where he uses his passion to share our performances with the world. In his free time, Christian enjoys participating in DECA at his school as well as writing scripts for his future movies.
Leonel Dubon
Pianist
An accomplished musician, Leonel has played the piano for more than a decade. Currently, he is an advanced piano major at the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts, actively participating in the piano leadership program at his school as librarian. Through his studies, Leonel has gained extensive experience performing in collaborative settings and being concertmaster for numerous recitals and school performances. He has also received top recognition in prestigious international musical competitions such as the Charleston International Music Competition. Alongside using his strong musical background to share the expressive and emotional power of the piano, Leonel leads DECA at his school as Vice President of Finance. He also loves to spend time with his turtle.
Gigi Malandra
Vocalist, Pianist
A dedicated vocalist with impeccable talent, Gigi started singing at 3 years old and has never stopped. Matriculated at the Las Vegas Academy of the Performing Arts, where she majors in vocal studies, Gigi has refined her skills under professional mentors, playing at numerous concerts and recitals. Outside of school, Gigi has had the opportunity to sing for the NBA Summer League, at Monday's Dark, and at The Dennis Bono Show. Currently, Gigi continues to perform at local venues such as Maxan Jazz, Capos, and Ferguson Downtown Las Vegas. Alongside enlightening others and expressing her devotion to music through her performances, she enjoys running and playing soccer.
Ari Clary
Violinist
An exceedingly passionate classical musician, Ari currently studies violin at the award-winning Las Vegas Academy of the Arts. Being accustomed to many concerts and competitions at the orchestral level through LVA, he has exponentially developed his expertise, collaboration abilities, and technical knowledge of the violin. With the same passion for helping others, Ari has maintained numerous leadership roles at his school, as a student body president, orchestra council member, and committed volunteer across the valley. Alongside sharing his passion for music with others, Ari enjoys learning bass guitar, listening to the Beatles, and running Speech and Debate club at his school.
Isabella Cabrera
Pianist, Social Media Coordinator
A gifted musician and leader, Isabella studies as an advanced piano major at the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts. Only playing for 4 years, Isabella has showcased her stellar talent through moving performances at numerous recitals and concerts. Also an exuberant leader, Isabella is an award-winning DECA member who has competed at an international level. She has subsequently earned the role of social media coordinator in her school-run piano leadership program and the DECA President at her school. Intertwining her passion for musicianship and leadership, Isabella is the social media coordinator for Presence through Sound Ensemble. Along with helping others, she enjoys reading, matcha, and trying out new local cafes.
